Group Tour Information

Fallingwater’s scenic location in Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands and proximity to Pittsburgh make it an ideal destination for a comfortable, enjoyable group outing.

Group tours must be reserved in advance. As soon as you have decided on a date for your Fallingwater visit, call our Visitor Services Office at 724-329-8501. Because of the popularity of Fallingwater group tours, we recommend that you make reservations for your group at least six weeks in advance; even earlier for tours on holidays, weekends and any day in October.

    Adult groups of 20 or more and student groups of 10 or more will receive special pricing for Fallingwater’s Regular Guided House Tour. Special group rates are available for all days except Memorial Day weekend; weekends between July 1 and Labor Day and weekends in October.

    Payment Policy

    Your deposit, accompanied by your signed Acceptance of Terms and Conditions, must be received at least six weeks prior to your visit. Please make your check payable to Fallingwater and mail it to:

    Deposit may also be made by credit card by calling the Visitor Services office at 724-329-8501.

    Deposits for tours booked with less than four weeks notice will be due at the time of booking.

    Final count and payment in full are due two weeks prior to your scheduled visit. Please be sure to review the cancellation policy outlined below.

    Deposits will be refunded for cancellations that are made with notice received at least ten (10) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will not be refunded within this ten (10) day period for any reason.

    After final payment and count are received there will be no refund under any circumstances unless the tour is cancelled by Fallingwater. Hours of operation are subject to weather from time to time. If severe weather conditions are anticipated, it is recommended that prior to your visit you call 724- 329-8501 to confirm that we are open. Late openings or early closings information will be available on our phone system.

    Checking In

    Second Floor BridgeTo ensure that your visit goes well, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. This will enable your group to be greeted by our staff, divided into smaller groups for the tour, use the restrooms and allow your tours to start as close to your scheduled time as possible.

    For those taking the In-Depth Tour, the gate opens promptly at 8:15 a.m.

    Your tours will begin as close to your reservation time as possible. Groups of no more than 14 will leave our Visitors Center every six (6) minutes to start their tour. During times of high visitation exact tour times cannot be guaranteed.

    Late Arrival

    If your group is delayed in transit and expects to be more than 15 minutes late, please contact the Visitor Services office immediately. PLEASE NOTE: Buses scheduled to arrive by 4 p.m. must arrive by 4 p.m. to avoid a possible $100 after-hours fee.
