Forest to Table: An Overnight Experience at Fallingwater and High Meadow

4:30 p.m. on Sat., October 19 to noon on Sun., October 20

Fallingwater and Rivendale Farms are partnering to create a culinary experience that is a celebration of time and place, the beauty of Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece, and the bounty of the Western Pennsylvanian countryside.

At this event called Forest to Table: An Overnight Experience at Fallingwater and High Meadow,  you'll enjoy a private, evening tour of Fallingwater and its grounds, then Chef Daniele Brenci will shepherd diners through a thoughtfully curated menu that takes you on a journey through the fall season in Western Pennsylvania, the bounty of the produce at Rivendale Farms, and the yield from multiple trips to forage at Fallingwater with Fallingwater’s Horticulturalist Ann Talarek.

Fallingwater in Autumn

Originally from Rome and now based in Pittsburgh, Chef Brenci works with Rivendale Farms and creates culinary masterpieces using unique methods to preserve items he has foraged both at Rivendale Farms and Fallingwater, and will share some of those dishes with us.

Proceeds from Forest to Table: An Overnight Experience at Fallingwater and High Meadow will benefit the Fallingwater Institute’s Scholarship Fund, which is established to provide equitable access to high quality, studio-based education programs for students ranging from high school to adult professionals.

Enjoy an evening of delicious dishes prepared by Chef Daniele Brenci, who spent a significant part of his culinary career with Michelin-starred restaurants in Rome, London, Malibu and Chicago – working with some of the world's greatest chefs.

About Fallingwater Institute

When Edgar Kaufmann jr. entrusted Fallingwater and the more than 1,500 acres surrounding it to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy in 1963, he envisioned Fallingwater not only as a place where visitors would come to experience great architecture, but also where a deeper experience of art and nature might occur.

Kaufmann imagined that Fallingwater could become a place where scholars, students and artists might come to find inspiration from the building and its landscape while pursuing individual or group study. Today, the Fallingwater Institute honors Kaufmann’s vision by providing a stimulating setting for learning and collaborating for individuals during classes, workshops and residencies at Fallingwater.
