Setting out from his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin, Christopher Curtin studied at the House of le Compagnons du Devoir, home of the premier guild of pastry chefs and artisans in France. It was here where he worked alongside the best journeyman pastry chefs in Europe, and became the first American to be awarded the honor of German Pastry Chef and Chocolatier in Cologne, Germany. Immersed in the realm of the world’s top chocolate makers, Curtin continued to hone his skills in the finest chocolate houses of Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany and Japan. After more than two decades making delicious handcrafted artisan chocolates, Master Chocolatier Christopher Curtin now brings his expertise to the public through Eclat Chocolates, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He is also the creator of Fallingwater’s exclusive chocolate bars.
With roots in central Pennsylvania, Kyle Zaccagni is inspired by regional culinary traditions and works closely with Appalachian farmers and local providers. For a time, he worked in Denver, Colorado, at the famed Rioja restaurant before returning to Pennsylvania for leadership roles in the restaurants at Nemcolin Resort. Over the course of his career, Kyle has worked with three James Beard award-winning chefs and held positions at AAA-Five-Diamond restaurants. He currently lives in Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania, and serves as Fallingwater’s Executive Chef.
