Wright at Polymath Park Tours

Polymath Park, a separate property that is independently owned and operated, is located at 187 Evergreen Lane, Acme, PA 15610, approximately 23 miles from Fallingwater and just five miles from Exit 91 (Donegal) on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Important Ticket and Visitor Information

During the ongoing health crisis, Fallingwater will operate under guidelines recommended by national, state and local agencies/authorities. We will carefully and continually monitor the situation in our region and make adjustments as needed. Please read our Visitor Information page to familiarize yourself with site guidelines before your visit.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. If you are exhibiting symptoms of the disease or feel unwell, please elect to stay home and help stop the spread. By visiting Fallingwater, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

For the safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers, a limited number of visitors are permitted on the site each day. For this reason, reservations are required for all visits. Please purchase tickets online or call 724-329-8501 to check the availability prior to traveling to Fallingwater. There is a $2.00 non-refundable processing fee for all ticket purchase.

Children younger than 6 are not permitted on Guided Architectural Tours, Sunset Tours, and Brunch Tours. Families with young children interested in a guided tour are invited to reserve one of our Family Field Trips.

For the protection of Fallingwater and its collections, handbags larger than 10x10x3 inches (25x25x8 cm), backpacks of any size, camera bags, tripods, and other cumbersome items are prohibited inside Fallingwater.

To ensure appropriate physically distancing while on-site, all groups are limited to a maximum of six people

Guided tour start times are approximate. To ensure sufficient physical distancing between groups, your guided tour may begin 10 to 20 minutes past your scheduled time. Please arrive early to provide sufficient time for parking and arrival at the Visitor Center. In planning your visit, allow approximately two hours on site to enjoy at a relaxed pace.

Visitors over the age of 2 are asked to wear a mask indoors. To allow for necessary physical distancing, the site will operate at reduced capacity. Occupancy limits may be required at some of our facilities.

To make your visit as touch-free as possible, transactions at our museum store, café, and membership desk are by credit card only.

Fallingwater’s site includes more than a mile of sloping gravel paths, which may be challenging for visitors with mobility limitations. Some exterior parts of the house are only accessible by stairs. Certain models of wheelchairs and strollers may have difficulty moving on gravel. Please inquire in advance about accessibility options or to reserve an all-terrain wheelchair.

The main gate opens daily at 8:30 a.m. Please note, admittance to the site through the main gate ends at 4 p.m. unless otherwise posted.

Fallingwater tours run from March through December, except Wednesdays and the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Tour times vary throughout the season, so we invite you to explore individual options for availability.

All photography, filming, recording on mobile devices, painting and sketching created during your visit to Fallingwater is permitted for personal use only.

The use of drones is prohibited on the property.
