Commemorating 90 landmark years as one of the world’s most influential works of Modern architecture, and celebrating Fallingwater’s future as an enduring symbol of art and nature in harmony.
A progressive summer evening event filled with art, nature, live jazz and delicious food.
The night begins at the Visitor Center with a champagne reception, creative hors d’oeuvres by Fallingwater Chef Kyle Zaccagni, and music by Pittsburgh jazz legend Roger Humphries. Dinner follows under the stars in the meadow with dishes prepared by Chef Bob Sendall of All in Good Taste Productions and keynote remarks by Paul Goldberger. As the sun sets, the party moves to the house for dancing and dessert, and Fallingwater illuminates the woods around it, becoming, as Edgar Kaufmann jr. often remarked, “a Japanese lantern floating in the forest.” It’s sure to be an unforgettable celebration!
Music produced by Marty Ashby of MCG Jazz, with Pittsburgh jazz legends like Roger Humphries.
Food created by Chef Bob Sendall of All in Good Taste Productions, Chef Kyle Zaccagni of Fallingwater, and Chef Christopher Curtin of Éclat Chocolates.
Keynote remarks given by Paul Goldberger, renowned author and architecture critic.
Artwork displayed on Fallingwater’s Pottery Terrace by the Fallingwater Institute + Touchstone Center for Crafts Artist-in-Residence.
