Ron Donoughe
A native of Loretto, Pa, Ron Donoughe has been painting and documenting the Western Pennsylvania region for the last 30 years. His work has been exhibited widely, including his recent 90 Pittsburgh Neighborhoods project, which has been acquired by the Heinz History Center as a permanent exhibition. He has taught painting at LaRoche College, The Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, and at workshops throughout the United States and France. Ron has also served as a juror for numerous plein air painting competitions. Most recently, August 1, 2018 was designated Ron Donoughe Day in Pittsburgh by Mayor Bill Peduto and Pittsburgh City Council.
