Private Twilight Tour 

Only offered in October, this private behind-the-scenes tour provides you and your guests the rare opportunity to experience twilight at Fallingwater during the height of the fall season. As special guests, this exclusive tour allows you to fully immerse in Wright’s masterpiece. A highlight is access down the steps of the living room’s iconic hatch, giving you a unique vantage point of the house’s cantilevers and the waterfall. 

After the tour, we invite you to enjoy the autumn evening on the Pottery Terrace for a reception with complimentary mulled cider and seasonal fare prepared by Fallingwater’s chef. Vegetarian and vegan offerings are available, gratuity is included, and BYOB is permitted with no corkage fee. 

Ticket Details 

• $3,200 Private tour for up to five people plus 6% transaction fee 
• List price includes after-hours, behind-the-scenes tour, access to the living room hatch, and reception with seasonal fare on the Pottery Terrace for up to 5 people. Each additional person is $650 with a maximum of 10 people. Cancellation policy is two weeks in advance.  
• Children younger than 9 are not permitted. 
• Advanced reservations are essential. A 6% processing fee will be applied to all purchases.

Expect considerable walking and standing on all guided tours. We recommend visitors wear closed-toe shoes with a rubber non-slip sole that provides both comfort and support. There is a ¼-mile walk from the Visitor Center to the house on uneven gravel surfaces. We offer a shuttle service to and from the house for visitors with mobility challenges. 

Important Information 

 Touring the house’s multiple levels requires climbing over 100 steps. 

Fallingwater is not air conditioned. 

Available with at least one week advance reservation only. 

Still photography is permitted for personal use. Please allow a total of 2.5 hours for this experience.
