Fallingwater Offers Free Admission to Fayette County Residents Nov. 14 and 16
Fallingwater, the Frank Lloyd Wright masterwork located at Bear Run Nature Reserve in the scenic Laurel Highlands, will offer free admission to Fayette County residents during its annual Fayette County Appreciation Days Friday, Nov. 14, and Sunday, Nov. 16.
Hundreds of friends and neighbors visit Fallingwater during Fayette County Appreciation Days each year. In addition to touring the house, visitors are invited to explore the nearly 5,100-acre nature reserve, visit the “Fallingwater Renewed” exhibit in the Speyer Gallery and learn about volunteer opportunities.
Advance reservations for tours are essential to guarantee admittance. Tours are available from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please call 724-329-8501 for information and reservations.
Fayette County residents played an important role in Fallingwater’s history and remain involved in its ongoing preservation and stewardship. Residents of Fayette County helped to build the iconic home and numerous area residents now serve as staff or volunteers at the world-renowned house museum.
