“I loved reading books featuring Frank Lloyd Wright as a kid, and was always in awe of Fallingwater. Being able to work here every day for the summer surrounded by such beautiful nature was very inspiring to me. As a designer I learned how to structure my creative process around how nature informs design and can accentuate the environment without harming it.”

Joyce is a fourth-year communication design student at the University of Cincinnati with a passion for visual storytelling, photography and the outdoors. Whether she’s climbing at Red River Gorge, hiking to mountain summits or exploring new places with her camera, Joyce loves connecting with people through meaningful images.
