“I am incredibly grateful for my experience at Fallingwater. Coming into this internship, I had little to no understanding of what it meant to plant and maintain a native natural landscape. Now I not only have a broader knowledge of planting design, but also working with a project from the initial concept to implementation. This internship taught me so much about how to manage projects, and work with the landscape all while learning about native plants and exploring the natural world.”

Currently serving as the sustainability education programs assistant at the Marsal School of Education’s Center for Education Design, Evaluation and Research at the University of Michigan, Odera brings a passion for environmental justice and inclusive design to her work.
