Meetings
The Barn at Fallingwater is the perfect setting for meetings, retreats, conferences or special events. This converted historic Pennsylvania dairy barn is located at the trailhead of the Bear Run Nature Reserve, just 500 yards north of Fallingwater’s main entrance along PA Route 381.
Several distinct meeting spaces are available that can be used by themselves or combined to meet your group’s needs. Its close proximity to Fallingwater also allows you to create the perfect ending to your meeting – tours of the house with social time on the bridge outside.
THE THRESHING ROOM
This large room was restored to preserve the beautiful craftsmanship of the timber frame construction and barn board walls. Best for events scheduled from May through mid-October, this 3200-square-foot seasonal space (78’ x 43’) can be opened up to the outdoors with large sliding barn doors, allowing for additional tented space. Both the Fireplace Room and the Threshing Room have interior and exterior access and are connected by a staircase to The Barn’s lobby.
THE FIREPLACE ROOM AND CONFERENCE ROOM
Originally the dairy barn’s milking parlor, this 1800-square-foot multi-functional space (53’ x 34’) features a large stone fireplace with integrated audiovisual and dimmable lighting. A retractable partition wall can divide the space into the Fireplace Room and the Conference Room to accommodate your meeting needs. Events can also take advantage of an adjacent flagstone courtyard for outdoor functions.
