Over the years, photographer Dave Bryce has had the rare privilege of photographing Fallingwater in every season and every kind of weather. In his own words, “To witness the house this way, with time and quiet to explore, has been nothing short of extraordinary—a dream for anyone drawn to architecture, design, and the poetry of light.”
In the Fall of 2026, Bryce will open that experience to a small group of fellow photographers for an exclusive three-day workshop at Fallingwater. Together, the group will slow down, look deeply, and photograph with intention. You will talk about craft and vision, the balance of structure and emotion, and how to translate the experience of a place into an image that feels alive.
Architectural photography needs space to breathe—room for perspective, movement, and stillness, which is why this workshop is for a small, limited group of to 6–8 participants. This allows each person the freedom to work quietly, to experiment, and to receive thoughtful one-on-one guidance throughout the workshop.
- Exceptional access to Fallingwater, an international landmark included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, including special evening access
- On-site housing at Fallingwater Institute’s educational facility, High Meadow
- Guided instruction, creative exploration, and peer critiques
